We must commend Tzeitel Wendell on her compassionate, professional, knowledgeable and capable manner in which she handled our mother's passing, Catherine Elizabeth Ullman, October 31, 2017, cremation and interment. What a pleasure it was to meet such a wonderful, patient person during our shocking grief. We hope you will pass on these affectionate words for Tzeitel. Psalms 119:28 Living Bible "I weep with grief; my heart is heavy with sorrow; encourage and cheer me with your words." Matthew 5:4 "Those who mourn are fortunate for they shall be comforted." Having never dealt with planning a cremation and interment, we were led down the "path of ease" concerning mom Catherine Ullman's final wishes. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Tzeitel.

Todd, I just wanted to thank you again for the very kind and compassionate way you took care of my family after the death of my Aunt Mary. Our situation was not easy being out of town, but you and your staff made it easier for all of us to deal with. Although "thank you" doesn't seem to be enough to say, I just can't put into words how you have restored my faith. Sincerely, Florence Wehr and Linda Demos

Dear Marc Brusie: I've been thinking of you much. I just wanted to say thank you greatly for stopping and acknowledging me when I was out at Glen Oaks Memorial Park on Memorial Day. The fact that you would take the time to ask how I was doing and have a heartfelt conversation with me, meant the world to me. I realize that this is more than a business to you. I apologize for not recognizing you at first. Unfortunately, the day that we first met when planning the funeral services for my son Vaughn, was also the second worst day of my life. The post trauma of it all has effected my memory. Your job is not an easy one, but I am thankful for you and appreciate you. God bless you. Thank you for being you. Very sincerely, Michelle E. Johnson aka Vaughn C. Evans, Jr.'s Mom

Dear Todd & Brusie Funeral Home staff - Thank you so much for your wonderful support and many services you offered as I mourned the death of my husband, Ron Kaufman. The Tributes page is beautiful and meant so much to me. Todd is kindness personified and down to earth...no false sympathy and loads of compassion and competence. I didn't know you had a New Beginnings Group and am very impressed you offer this. Services were prompt and everyone so empathetic. I also so much appreciated the referrals that made a Gathering in Ron's honor come off smoothly and beautifully. Thank you so much for everything.

Dear Tzeitel. I want to take this moment to thank you especially for all the support and help you offered me over these very stressful weeks. Please know how very much I appreciated it. And I want to thank Kim and Shane; Kim was always so cordial and willing to help me with whatever I needed, and Shane did you proud when he stepped in on the 24th, especially when the issue of the flag came up! :) To this day, I don't know who started that bit of business. Life OR death is never boring. Sincerely,

Dearest Brusie Family & Staff: Thank you for the card. It's been hard and hope as time goes on it will get better. That's what everyone says to me (but what about right now?). Thank you for the services and the way it was handled was just about as easy as it could be for me. So to the lady that was dealing with me, please let her know that she handled me great. I felt such relief when it was happening and I felt she did her job. Thanks,

Dear Marc, We want to let you know how pleased we are with your assistance in laying our son, Robert, to rest. Not a single hiccup was to be had all day long. The check enclosed is to hopefully secure additional bookmarks with Robert's picture on them. We are a family of readers and would love to have them for our grandchildren and some friends. Thank you for all your help. May God bless you and yours. Gratefully,

Dear Marc & Staff, Our family would like to express our appreciation to you all for your kind and thoughtful care for us - and our Mom. You were patient and helpful as we made decisions and arrangements. It was a sweet touch for Dan to paint her nails red to match her dress. Your staff was very sweet the "day of " her service, etc., helping us to go through the day smoothly. It is plain to see that this is more than a business for you, it's caring for and comforting people in their time of loss and grief. Sincerely,

Kathy Bohlander and family of Delores Jaquess
